Yippee-ya-ya !!! I've got myself a Canon EOS 40D - Kit II (with EF-S 17-85 IS USM) today !!! 
However the thought of better-quality photos for my 2 little darlings, will definitely make this investment worthwhile. I'd be registering for Canon's free training soon and hope to pick up a few photography tips from there ... and start snapping away like a Pro (hopefully).
Well, I've finally decided to go for it after 2 days of pondering, pondering & pondering ... hahaha.
